Shakugan no SHANA Gets Another Manga

A special issue of Dengeki Maoh magazine will be released on September 19, 2007. This special issue magazine is titled: Dengeki Kuro Maoh (電撃黒「マ)王) and it will be published on a quarterly basis. Amongst this magazine's serialization will be a new Shakugan no SHANA manga.

This manga will be titled "Shakugan no SHANA X Eternal song -Harukanaru Uta-" (灼眼のシャナX Eternal song -遙かなる歌-), and it will be drawn by Kiya Shii. This new manga will be based on the tenth light novel volume of Shakugan no SHANA.

Shakugan no SHANA is a light novel series by Yashichiro Takahashi (author) and Noiji Itou (illustrator) with 17 volumes currently released in Japan. The first manga adaptation of it started serialization in Dengeki Daioh magazine since February 2005, and currently has 3 manga volumes released.

Note: though the news from the publisher suggests that the serialization of this new manga will start in September 10th, but according to MediaWorks release calendar, the first issue of Dengeki Kuro Maoh magazine will be released on September 19th.
